We are looking for an experienced software engineer to play a crucial role in building and maintaining our backend infrastructure with a focus on writing new and improving existing threat detection algorithms for the detection of zero-day exploits targeting mobile devices - ensuring reliability, performance and scalability both in contained on-premise environments as well as for off-premise solutions using cloud technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Play a leading role in the design and implementation of robust, scalable threat detection algorithms and frameworks for the Android and iOS platforms.
- Proactively update threat detection algorithms and strategies to stay ahead of zero-day exploits used in the wild targeting mobile devices and adapt to OS-level platform changes.
- Collaborate with product and security teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals and product requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Drive improvements in performance, reliability, and scalability of developed solutions.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably with a security-oriented focus.
- Experience with and knowledge of C++, Go, Python and Rust.
- Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) workflows and containerization (e.g., Docker).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritizing multiple tasks.
Preferred:
- Experience using IDA Pro and/or other similar reverse engineering tools.
- Previous work in an information security-focused role.
- Previous work at a relevant government agency.
